How to Share Sales Calls

Overview

By default, your calls are private to you and your organization admins. But the real magic happens when you share.

Whether you're asking a manager for feedback or sending a demo recording to a prospect, SalesAstro makes sharing seamless.

Sharing with Team

To share with a colleague who is already in your SalesAstro workspace:

  1. Open the call you want to share.
  2. Click the Share button in the top right corner.
  3. Type their name or select them from the dropdown.
  4. Choose their permission level (see below).
  5. Click Invite.

They will receive an email notification and the call will appear in their "Shared with Me" list.

External Sharing

Want to send a call to a prospect or someone outside your org?

  1. Click Share.
  2. Type their email address.
  3. SalesAstro will recognize they are external and default to "View Only".
  4. Click Send Invite.

Security Note

External links are secure. If you share with prospect@company.com, only someone with access to that email inbox can view the call.

Permissions

Control exactly what others can do with your call.

View Only

Can watch the video and read the transcript. Cannot see internal notes or chat.

Comment

Can add their own notes and participate in the chat. Cannot edit the transcript or change call details.

Edit

Full access. Can rename the call, edit the transcript, and manage other shares.

Can I revoke access later?
Yes. You can remove anyone from the share list at any time, and their link will immediately stop working.
Do external guests need an account?
No. They will receive a secure magic link that lets them view the call without signing up.
Who owns the call?
The person who recorded/uploaded it is the Owner. Admins also have full access to all organization calls.
