How to Connect Zoom

Overview

The best way to use SalesAstro is to set it on autopilot. By connecting Zoom, every call you record is automatically pulled into SalesAstro, transcribed, and analyzed.

No more downloading MP4s and re-uploading them.

Setup Guide

  1. Go to Settings: Click your avatar in the bottom left and select Settings.
  2. Open Integrations: Select the Integrations tab.
  3. Connect Zoom: Find the Zoom card and click Connect.
  4. Authorize: You'll be redirected to Zoom. Sign in and grant permission.
  5. Done: You'll be redirected back to SalesAstro with a success message.

Important

You must have Cloud Recording enabled in your Zoom settings for this to work. Local recordings (saved to your computer) cannot be automatically synced.

How Syncing Works

Once connected, here's what happens:

  • Automatic Sync: We check for new recordings every 15 minutes.
  • Manual Sync: Need it now? Click the Sync Now button on the integration card to trigger an immediate check.
  • Historical Sync: When you first connect, you can choose to import calls from the last 30, 60, or 90 days.

Does this work with free Zoom accounts?
Yes, as long as you have cloud recording enabled. Note that free Zoom accounts often have limited cloud storage.
Can I choose which calls to import?
Currently, we import all cloud recordings to ensure nothing is missed. You can easily archive or delete calls you don't need in SalesAstro.
What about my CRM?
We also integrate with HubSpot, Pipedrive, and GoHighLevel. You can connect these in the same Integrations menu.
